300 years ago tiny groups of artisans living close to the Sea of Marmara began creating soaps fit for the Ottoman Palaces.So impressed were the mighty Sultans they offered them as gifts to the delight of visiting royalty and important dignitaries.
These beautiful, pure soaps, indistinguishable from fresh fruits, are still hand-made by descendants of the original artisans working in the same area.
The Ottoman Sultans are gone but the tradition continues for you.
